2020 New Year Course Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress course (extended Sunday sessions)

Dates:  26th Jan 2020, 9th Feb, 23rd Feb, 8th Mar 1:30-5:30pm

Venue: Triratna Leeds Buddhist Centre.

Our next Mindfulness for Stress course begins on 26th Jan 2020 and will be run over 4 extended weekend sessions at fortnightly intervals. Each session will be a double session, so will cover 2 of the normal 8 weeks of the course. The sessions will run from 1:30pm until 5:30pm.

Each week introduces key ideas and practices. Participants will learn to clearly perceive thoughts, physical sensations, emotions and events at the moment they occur without reacting in an automatic or habitual way.

By developing a new relationship with the conditions we find ourselves in we begin to respond creatively. Experiences don’t overwhelm us and we can remain steady through life’s ups and downs.

Mindfulness isn’t a cool and detached awareness, rather developing kindness and self compassion is at the heart of the course.  The course is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience of mindfulness.

The course costs £220, concessionary rates £180 (low income) or £150 (benefits)

£15 discount for early bird payments made in full received before 6th January 2020.
